Registration Information

When you register your car for either showing/judging or just the fun field, you'll have the opportunity to give them a club name.

Please help us: On the registration form, we are using the name " Early Valiant and Barracuda Club", not the initials EVBC. If we register with 25 or more cars under the same club name, they will reimburse us for the cost of the tent we rent for the event. Carlisle Events has made it easy. If you register online, our club is listed in the drop down menu for "Club Name" on the registration form.

We provide the tent for all who come to the show and costs the club $170.00. It's been a great place to gather to share stories, talk cars & compare swap meet finds.

Carlisle Events also offers a club participation award to the club that brings the most cars to each show. The Carlisle Club Challenge is based on the total number of registered cars for an individual club. The club with the most registered cars will win the Carlisle Club Challenge winner banner to proudly display. We had a record number of Early A body cars at Carlisle last year, lets see if we can pull this one off this year.

Carlisle Itinerary

Most folks arrive at the show field sometime on Friday and we get reacquainted with old friends. There is so much to see and do we usually hit the swap meet area first looking for those missing pieces.

Friday night we all go to Cancun Mexican Restaurant, 853 North Hanover Street in Carlisle (717) 241-6288. We get a big table and generally make it difficult for the wait staff when bringing the check!

Saturday morning is breakfast at the Fairgrounds Diner outside Gate One. A large place with good food and a courtious staff. We usually drive right to the showfield early to get a good parking spot, then walk to breakfast.

Saturday we go to dinner at the Rustic Tavern at 823 Newville Rd in Carlisle (717) 245-2999. The food is good and it gives us another reason to drive our cars.

Sunday is kind of a lazy day. We do breakfast at the Fairgrounds Diner again and trudge back through the swap meet area just in case we missed something and check to see who won a trophy. We say our good byes and for some of us begin the long drive home thinking about next year.
