Electronic Ignition Upgrade

With the above diagrams, you can upgrade your ignition system from points to electronic with original Mopar components. Choose which type ECU/ Ballast you want to use then gather the parts (distrubitor, harness, ECU) from a swap meet or salvage yard. Remember the ECU needs to be grounded and the wiring colors need to be checked as the donor vehicle and your car may be different. Thats why wire color was omitted from the diargams.

Also by adding an electronic voltage regulator, you get better charging & no danger of a voltage spike from the points style regulator damaging your ECU.
