Registration Information

We meet annually in July at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, the largest all Mopar show in the eastern United States.

When you register your car for the showfield, you'll have the opportunity to select a club name. Carlisle Events has made it easy when you register online, our club is listed in the drop down menu for "Club Name" on the registration form. If you print a form and mail it, use our full name "Early Valiant and Barracuda Club".

If we register with 25 or more cars under the same club name, they will reimburse us for the cost of the tent we rent for the event. We provide the tent for all who come to the show and costs the club $275.00 each year. It's been a great place to gather to share stories, talk cars & compare swap meet finds.

Carlisle Itinerary

We rent a tent for the show on the fairgrounds and it's become our annual meeting place. There's a constant flow of traffic in our area, people and cars, and we always find someone looking for information, giving information or just needing to get out of the sun for a little while. We always have cold water on hand for whoever needs one.

The show officially begins on Friday, but several members show up on Wednesday or Thursday to get reacquainted with old friends and usually to hit the swap meet area early looking for those missing pieces.

Since we've been getting to the show earlier, we'll end up at Black and Bleu in Mechanicsburg for dinner on Thursday night. A nice place with a great menu!

Friday night we usually go to The Rustic Tavern for dinner and from there to Massey's Frozen Custard for dessert, if we have room!

Saturday we have dinner together at the tent, anyone is welcome. In the past we've had a cook out, pot luck dinners, but we order pizza from Marcellos amd just enjoy watching the cars pull out for the day. Many menbers leave for home on Sunday morning, so we say our goodbyes.

Sunday is kind of a lazy day. We trudge back through the swap meet area just in case we missed something and wait until 10:00 am when they put out the winners lists and check to see who won a trophy. We say our good byes and for some of us begin the long drive home thinking about next year.
